Vanochtend om 7:15 ging de telefoon. We schrokken: er zal toch niets naars zijn gebeurd in de familie? Maar het gesprek liep anders:

“Heelo, I am from Microsoft. There is a virus on your computer”
(weet die dame met haar Oost-Europese accent veel dat ik geen microschoft-producten in huis heb?)
“O really? Are you sure?”
“Yes, there is a virus on your computer. From the internet”
“Good heavens! But my computer is dead!”
“Yes, you have a virus. You must put the computer on”
“But my computer is so dead”
“Yes you have a virus, you must put the computer on”
“But my computer is not in the house”
“Oh? Where is it?”
“It is in the garden”
“In the garden?”
“It is under the garden. It is dead”
“Are you joking to me?”
“Yes I am”
“Ahh good. Now you must put the computer on”
“Are you joking to me now?”
“You must put the computer on”
“So you are joking to me!”
[ beep beep beep ] einde gesprek…
